Beachhouse January 2012

Another fantastic trip to our favorite little hideaway on the beach with Uncle Tom and Aunt Evie.  As usual I frolicked on the beach as much as possible!

When I wasn't frolicking I was buggin' Mom to go out after spending time looking longingly at the beach.

Uncle Tom practiced my training with me one morning and oh did we have fun playing ball.  My tongue was hanging out sideways when we finished.

It was a cold weekend...we even had snow!

But we had a nice fireplace to warm up in front of.

We came home to snow on the ground.  It was Josie's first snow so we ran laps around the yard. 

The kitties missed us while we were gone.  Thank you Gary and Carley for taking good care of us!

Christmas 2011

Christmas was great fun this year.  I had both my girlfiends over to play!

 We had lots of fun playing with all of our new toys!

We especially liked the squirrel!

I have to be kinda careful because Josie gets jealous of my chocolate friend, Olive.

But we all can play very nicely together and I try to give them each the same amount of attention.

Boy, I was one tuckered out dude by the end of the day.

Josie Posie

One of my girlfriends got fixed last week.  She is healing so I don't get to see her for a couple of weeks.  She misses me so here she is waiting for me in my driveway with her cone.  I can't wait until she is all healed up so we can wrestle again!

Annual Crabbing Trip

We went to the coast again in early September.  I had a fabulous time as  usual.  Here I am with my buddy Zoe by the steps down to the sand.  I was such a good boy this year that I didn't have to be tied up!  And I only snuck down there once when Momma wasn't lookin' :-)

After lots of playing on the beach, I settled in while the people watched a scarey movie.

Ice Cream Weather

Josie and I enjoyed Frosty Paws again one hot evening.  We both go into a doggy trance as we eat it.

Clear Lake 2011

Momma was too lazy to take many pictures at our annual camping trip but I asked her to at least take a couple of me relaxing at camp.  I was tuckered out after lots of swimming and boating.

But the highlight of the trip is that we've been working hard on my training and I no longer need this at camp!



Toys, toys, toys

I am such a lucky puppy to have a basket full of toys to play with.

But Momma can't figure out why these are my favorite ones (Josie's too)!  Frog arm and a miscellaneous foot!

She was ginvig us a hard time about it yesterday so Josie found a new toy upstairs.  We played tug for awhile and then Momma went in to to work on the computer.

After playing a bit more we came into the kitchen to rest for a bit.  We left Momma a surprise in the living room.

She said it only took us about 3 minutes to do this.

Momma sat up the swimmin' pool and boy have we had fun in it!  Josie was a bit tentative at first but caught on quick!

Then it was time for Frosty Paws!

Olive's June stay

I am such a lucky boy---I have two girlfriends now! Olive and Josie. I love having them over to play so I can demonstrate my manliness.

Olive spent four days with me while her owners went to the coast. Josie was over too and the three of us are all fast friends. What more could you ask for than a yellow, brown, and black lab? Olive secretly told me she was jealous of Josie but I assured her I could be shared.

Evie, the squirrel has turned out to be a favorite toy!  And it is tough considering how much we've played tug with it!

After lots of playing we finally tuckered out.  But first some fish wrestling to top off the day.  Judy, the fish still lives on!

Bailey's butt makes a great pillow!



My New Friend Josie

I am such a lucky pup.  A new playmate has moved in next door with Carley and Gary.  My momma thinks she's a grandma cuz Josie can come over and play and then go home

Here we are tuckered out after playing!  She is hogging my bed!

And she loves my squirrel toy!



But all in all we are getting along famously!
